How can The Autism Advisory Group help?

What do you do?  Who do you turn to?  Well, we didn’t have anyone but some support groups and plenty of books and resources that WE had to obtain and review.  That is why I formed The Autism Advisory Group to help coach others to success with their children.  We partner with you and your support system to maximize your success in dealing with your situation.

This is what I know to be true in the last 8+ years of working on our son's recovery:

First of all, please know my heart here.  I am not passing blame or judgment, just telling you what I have seen.

  1. I have seen too many parents that don't want to face the situation that they have a child with autism.  Believe me, I know that this is hard as we had to face it, too.  However, you have the choice here on how you deal with it!

  2. I have also seen a great percentage of parents that take the "someone else fix my child" position much like many parents look at today's schools.  unfortunately, no one knows your child like you do.  And, you were given this child because YOU have what it takes to make them the best that they can be!

  3. You are not alone!  There is a vibrant autism community out there to help you.  And, we are here to help you too!

  4. Many parents look to only the "experts" for their child's recovery, losing valuable time in the process.  If you want to maximize your child's level of recovery, you need to face the situation head on and get involved in partnering WITH your son or daughter's experts.

Please don't sit on the sidelines and just hope that others will get your child recovered!  Get in the game!

Why?  Because we have been where you are and we care!
